Today they were showing news clips of Secretary Gates visiting the troops in Afghanistan. Gates shakes hands with the commander who, like all the other soldiers, is wearing a reverse camouflage color flag. IT MAKES ME SICK...!!! That is pure Bull S,..T. Except for the horizontal lines that look like stripes there is no resemblance to our true, real flag. Lou said he didn't know they were using camouflage flags, well Lou, just turn on your TV and watch what the rest of the world sees. OPEN YOUR EYES..our soldiers do NOT represent the United States of America, they represent the World Government and NOT under our command.

Why, well they either don't want us to see the figures(they don't lie) or they don't know or they haven't bothered or they don't care; probably a combination of all to some degree. WHY DOES OUR MILITARY WEAR A REVERSE FLAG ON THEIR UNIFORMS??? I sent an email to ushistory.org and their reply was that the flag is on the opposit shoulder when serving under another command. I ask what other command? This started with Clinton during the Bosnia war and the US soldiers turned the flags inside out or backwards. That put the blue field on the right of the flag. Now they make US flags for the military uniforms with the field of blue to the right. That is not MY FLAG. Per the official code the flag can only be displayed flat or hanging free. When flat the field of blue is in the left corner. Has our military been coopted to another command that they are subordinate to??? Police, fire, EMT, etc., everyone else wears the flag properly. What is going on??

Yes, maybe she is a nice caring person, but for crying sake this lady in the way her facade is heard by all of us is thin and weak for a title that is HOUSE SPEAKER. If you're looking to be a non-independent - look no further - listen and watch Nancy Pelosi.

Lou; If the Democrats move forward and push ObamaCare through Reconciliation and bypassing the will of the People we as a nation have truly become a Socialist nation run by those with the most power. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid should be ashamed of themselves for even contemplating this course of action, but President Obama himself is just as guilty and arrogant to think he has a Mandate to do what he wants without the concerns of how Americans feel about this "take-over" of Health Care and growing the US Government against the ideals of the founding fathers. I am proud to be and American, however, in this moment I feel ashamed of how our government is forgetting we are a Republic and Democracy. This is no more than a coup against what the people expected after (not me), the slimmest majority elected Barrack Obama. I will always raise my flag, however, at this point in our history I know the World is watching and waiting to see how far we truly have fallen. I love this nation, but I truly feel the men and women in Congress, as well as may Presidents feel it is "theirs" do with as they will. I can only hope Americans will vote from the brain and not from some false allegiance to their embedded Representatives and Senators. If these people have no loyalty to us, why should we reward them with re-election? The answer is simple: We either unite and demand Independent Independence from the Red and Blue idealism or we fall as a nation in Stalin's mold and lose our sovereignty and national identity. I know you know what I am talking about Mr. Dobbs. I respect you for speaking out, but more than words are now needed to rebuild our failing government and internal needs as a nation. ObamaCare is a sore that just won't go away and will not heal our broken economy. How amusing that President Obama still cannot see past his own ego and the agenda of taking this nation all the way to the far Left with the Puppet Masters Pelosi and Reid smiling the whole time. We are a nation at war! We have been so for 8 years and counting. We have 20 million illegal immigrants bleeding our schools, hospitals and states dry, costing hundreds of billions of dollars and millions of jobs that Americans will do. So, how do I see this President as a leader? I do not. In fact, he is worse than his predecessor in many ways. I was no fan of Bush, but really, at least he knew what nation he was President of, even if he had problems pronouncing words at times. In all seriousness-President Obama, the people do not want your agenda. They do not want Tea Party rallies to be viewed as "odd" or anti-American. In fact, they do not want you or your Party, (or the Republicans either for that matter), to keep talking and doing nothing. I am planning a really big Tea Party of my own, and with all the Veterans I am going to have there I dare Pelosi or that idiot Bill Maher to call us un-Patriotic for speaking the views we fought to have. Sorry, but the Tea Party is the Tear Party for the Democratic Left. Here is a tissue, but we have issues and they need to be addressed. We cannot support our troops who are at war? This President would back the IOC on this because he is not an American, he is a puppet to the World Order he cherishes so damned much. He wants more Executive Power? Why, so he can make more ridiculous decisions? His "campaign" in office is a never-ending rhetoric machine with no answers and not one clue as to how to be the President of the Untied States. He is just clueless. And Hooaah to that US Goalie. I hope it was Quick from the LA Kings! Anyway Lou, this President is tangled in the strings of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and the Democratic Left. I am not looking forward to either Party winning, but for the chance to at least fire this President and watch him skulk back to mediocrity where he should have stayed. Lou, I would like to address Diana B. She is right on about the distortions of our history to be more "Politically Correct". History is a story-period. Unfortunately, as it always has been the case, those in power tell the stories from their perspectives. This Leftist Movement to change history to make people forget the sacrifices made by our forefathers and ancestors is tragic and criminal. Omitting the Civil War and the War against Britain from History texts is damned foolish. I always parry those in favor of illegal immigration, like George Lopez when they say the Colonists were the first Illegal Aliens. Wrong! There were no laws stating their colonization of this part of North America was illegal back then. Thus, he is a big moron who panders to his La Raza crowd of cronies to make money inciting illegal alien advocates. Diana, keep the faith-people like Lou Dobbs and me will never allow this nation to fall just because of apathy and persons in leadership roles who should not be their due to lack of experience or the abilities to govern. This is why our nation needs to take steps to become more Centrist and forget the Parties in office. We need to vote them out, yes, but we also have to replace them with leaders... That is our duty as citizens. Nice post Diana B. Keep telling the people what needs to get done Lou. They have the will, now they just need to have the gumption to get it done. I heard your broadcasts pertaining to the distorting of history in North Carolina and Texas. I'm a reading specialist at an elementary school in a district outside of Philadelphia. I noticed that the 3rd grade citizenship book teaches that "we" have more, and therefore, must share with others. They describe past immigration policies as negative (checking for diseases??). It is total propaganda for open boarders. In addition, the fourth grade math book has a unit for measurement and percentage, which they use countries to teach the concepts. It lists several European countries. The word Europe is not used, rather, they are called Zone 2 countries. American countries have a zone, etc. . .

Callers keep saying there are no solutions be offered via Tea Party rallies. Well, my rebuttal is simply this: You, the American People are the solution and regrettably, have been part of the problem as well. In terms of lost jobs, national security, and health care issues, too many Americans, (which I am proud to be), have fallen into the apathy trap. If it did not affect them or their portfolio it was not an issue. Now that the Middle Class is on the Endangered Species List suddenly people are awake to the fundamental problem of a Two-Party System. Democratic Republic we may well be, but if solutions are to be found there has to be a third party. Yes, an Independent Party. If you have a coin and you flip it about 50% of the time it will come up heads or tails-not too much room for debate or real solutions, just luck. If you have to actually work out our national issues with the Middle or Centrist Party, (which needs to be officially created), then their is real choice, real debate, and real solutions from a point of view not Red or Blue. In conclusion, as I have served this nation and retired younger than I wanted to, so too have so many others, I feel I have earned my say, but also have an obligation that goes beyond my oaths. My oaths never expire. That having been said, it is a damned shame that our nation is in the state it is in when we have so many persons willing to die for freedom and then have the rest of the nation sit on their hands and complain instead of acting. I have a voice now that I did not have in uniform. I exercise it here and everywhere. We can all elect real leaders, but before we do that we have to learn (or at least some of you do), {I know how to lead already}, how to responsibly choose those who represent us in Congress. Ideology aside, choices have to be made on logic, not just beliefs. The Constitution and Bill of Rights are documents of logic. Our Independence demands we hold ourselves accountable each and every day. Yes, our Congressmen and Women have to do better, but we, the people have to put better people in those seats. Sacrifice is a journey, not simply a destination. It is time we Americans started to rebuild trust in ourselves and stop taking the easy road. I believe in hard work, sacrifice, and a strong national defense. In short, I am a Patriot. With that comes the responsibility that people like me, like Lou Dobbs, and millions of others have to come out of the shadows and affect real change, not just hope for it. This government is broken. It will not be fixed unless we put into it leaders, not fixtures. That is my remark for this week. To you Lou-keep spreading the truth sir. Rangers Lead the Way! Sincerely, Sergeant Major Daniel L. If President Obama would just step forth and state to Democrats, Republicans and the American citizens, ?My fellow Americans, we are at war in the Middle East and our troops are facing terrorists there as well as on our shores. I am going to overturn recent decisions and issue a command, as your Commander in Chief, that the terrorists that have caused death and destruction in the Middle East and within our shores and on our airplanes, are indeed terrorists, and as such war criminals. I will not allow them to be tried in a US Court of Law...period. They will immediately be transferred back to a military prison and tried by a military tribunal as war criminals as soon as possible. His State of the Union speech was nothing more than a dropping of the gauntlet to again reassert his Liberal and determined attempts to take this nation right over the cliff to the far Left. I chose to be a Republican because it used to be the party of greater fiscal responsibility and smaller government. Fiscal responsibility and smaller government all but vanished during the Bush years including costly decisions to be paid for on the backs of our children and their children (an easy way to avoid difficult decisions, i.e., spending other people?s money that don?t get a vote.) What about the party that says they favor less government in our lives? What could be more Republican than supporting a woman?s right to choose without government interference? In my opinion, an intrusive anti-choice agenda should not be part of the Republican platform. The Republican Party needs to stand up and support less government in our lives; fiscally, administratively and with sound social policies. Until Republican Party leaders come around to consistency in their platform I will remain an independent. I predict that the Democrats in power will now feel the dissatisfaction of the independent voter as the Republicans did in 2008. The Republicans will be well advised not to count this as vote for their policies.

The vast majority of Congress, regardless of what the people are saying seem Hell bent on shoving this Health Care Bill down the throats of all Americans. In my state of California the only people who want this Bill are the illegal immigrants and uninsured who want a "hand out", regardless of the cost to taxpayers and responsible citizens. Can somebody tell Nancy Pelosi she may be the Speaker of the House but she does not speak for all the people...Please! I know you get it Lou, you always have, so continue to be the voice of reason in this delusional, governmental, fractured, elitist fraternity. Re the earthquake in Haiti: Could the TV networks come to an arrangement that just one organization cover a natural disaster, and then share the footage? They could take turns with catastrophes. Many US television reporters + their camera crews are drinking water, eating food that could go to the desperate victims. I hear there is only one landing strip, so more supply planes could land without this gaggle of geese crowding the runway. I turn the TV channel, and the Haiti coverage is there again -- the same horrific scenes but from a slightly different angle. I bet Katie Couric is washing her face and hair with Evian. But please, not on my account...

Lou; This whole debate about Massachusetts and the "Teddy Kennedy" Senate seat is ridiculous. I feel that too many members of both Parties believe they are entitled to certain seats in Congress and that is where the elitism runs rampant. No seat in Congress, no state should be assumed to be either Red or Blue. These are the seats of the representatives of the people. It is a prime example as how presumptuous and arrogant the Democrats and Republicans are to feel any such seat of power is reserved for their Party. The People decide, and in this case, the bully tactics and interference by either Party is not in line with what the Constitution wanted. In terms of a New Contract With America: none should be required. The only contract has already been signed-it is called the US Constitution and those signatures permanently in place should be the only "contract" pretend leaders need to follow. I humbly submit that if persons want to be in the Senate or the House they should look at and read that document to see what it is they are running for, not continually trying to re-write what is the will of the People. The Bill of Rights is also one of those documents that seems to elude the proper interpretation by wannabe Congressmen. This is a nation of diverse people, not just Red and Blue. So, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the fractured Republican Party need to understand we are a nation of Independents, not Party favors. Sergeant Major Daniel L. D., USA ret. CA

It is not the Democrats alone who are destroying the American Dream, it is the vast majority of Congress and supposed leaders who have lost touch with the people of our nation. Lou; A two Party system does not work any longer simply because there are more than two views in this nation and when one Party controls everything the other Party members feel "left out". And all of us Independents sit in the middle and wait for scraps, all the while screaming "we're mad as Hell and want real change!" It is a lose-lose situation when the Supreme Leader forgot why he said he ran for President and became a mouthpiece for Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and has the Liberal Media stoking the flames every single day. I personally feel most of Congress needs to be replaced with competent and forward thinking leaders, not just eloquent speakers and orators who lull Americans into a false sense of Patriotism. Our nation needs an overhaul from the top down. The people have suffered enough, it is time for our sacrifices to be rewarded. All this government control is "taxation without fair representation". That once started a Revolution. Rock on Lou. Sergeant Major Daniel L. D., USA ret. CA

Lou; In direct response to Senator Reid's comments, I think this shows where the real power lies in the US Government. In an Administration supposedly transparent and fair, we see Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid continually exposing the double standard which is rampant in Washington. I find Majority Leader Reid's comments not only insulting, but also a true testament to the lack of leadership in our governmental system. An apology is great, but what precipitates these people to speak thus is the underlying question that needs to be addressed. I am certain you Lou would at least agree that good intentions do not erase poor decisions or statements when in a Leadership position. It seems the circus that is the US Congress continues to find new ways fill the Big Top with odd and erratic persons to lead our nation. Thank goodness those of us who use our minds and not race can still speak coherently without having to have any particular ethnic dialect and still be capable leaders. Hit them hard on this one Lou! Hi Lou, optimistically the coming year holds hope, practically it holds the momentum of the recent years of American decline, and for Americans of spirit it holds a lot of work. Thank you for your hard work, we must all step up a little this year to ensure an America as we have enjoyed will be there in the future. Maybe more than ever before this quote should be heard loud "We have met the enemy and he is us". American complacency has enabled our politicians to feel empowered to deliver their personal agenda with little regard to the majority they serve. I blame to a large part the media for elections based on "sound bites" and reporting of miss direction on fair and honest debate of issues. We must find away in the media to fairly bring into focus the real picture of the future each agenda offers and as Americans we must look beyond the false promise of rose gardens when commonsense tells us otherwise. Lou, keep us focused in 2010 and keep the truth in the debate.

Dear Lou, Regarding the Senator's reprimand by Senator Boxer to the General, you are 100% correct in your statement of fact relative to protocols. The Senator was disrespectful and out of line, as well as showing disregard for proper classification as a member of the female class. Your caller, Pat who challenged the use of the term ma'am by the General, she is wrong about the scale of average pay for women in the workplace. I resent her assessment on both conditions. Obviously, she is a disgruntled feminist of the type that believes in self-righteous indignation and bigotry over gentlemanly conduct and deference to the opposite sex. If I were the General, my response would have been...I'll call you whatever you want, but don't ever attempt to assert your self-righteous, self-appointed position of authority over my position as a qualified military serviceman who fought for your freedom to be here in a position which many would appreciate and consider an honor in itself, without demanding such respect you have not earned.
