Cutting to the Chase: CBS Anchor Asks Kamala Direct —'Are You Ready to Be President?' [Watch]

While discussing the rumored meeting between Russia’s Vladimir Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, CBS News anchor Margaret Brennan felt-out asked Vice President Kamala Harris about her preparedness to be POTUS.

MARGARET BRENNAN: So you’re 58 now. If you win a second term, as you and the president are running to do. He would be 86 at the end of it. The Wall Street Journal had a poll showing two-thirds of Democrats say Joe Biden is too old to run again.

Are you prepared to be commander-in-chief?

VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS: Yes, I am, if necessary– but Joe Biden is going to be fine. Let me tell you something: I work with Joe Biden every day. The work that under Joe Biden’s leadership our administration has accomplished is transformative. I think the American people most of all, want a leader who actually gets things done.

The New York Post editorial board blasted Kamala Harris for an earlier interview in which she said she was prepared to be POTUS —an obvious lie to anyone who’s heard the Veep’s word salad.

Harris has proven again and again that she doesn’t even have what it takes to be vice president, which is a walk in the park compared to the top gig.

Biden gave her the border crisis to deal with. Look at the results; it’s no shock people like her even less than they like him.

She’s Biden’s cheerleader-in-chief for his disastrous election strategy of running on our limping, inflation-choked economy.

On everything from AI to Ukraine, she descends into meaningless, muddy word salads when pressed for real answers — and she doesn’t even have the excuse of pushing 81 and slipping into obvious cognitive decline.

It’s beyond obvious that, were Joe to drop his re-election bid, Democrats wouldn’t vote to make Kamala the nominee.
